Sew So EZ radial template

Create unique designs. Over 200 different shapes and sizes. Use with rotary cutter. Cut multiple layers of fabric. Cut 100's of pieces of fabric in a matter of minutes. From the abstract to the traditional, you are only limited by your imagination.

The purpose of this template is to utilize a rotary cutter to cut one or more layers of fabric in an arc shape. All arcs are routed to 1/4 inch width so that after you cut on the outside edge of the slot, you can mark the sew line on the inside edge of the slot. The purpose of the beveled holes in our template is to mark a "PERFECT" center, so you can achieve a variety of circle diameters.

To make a complete circle or part of a circle, place a pointed tool such as a pencil, pen or pushpin in the center hole of the template. Make a cut along the outer edge of the desired slot using a standard rotary cutting tool. Rotate the template to continue cutting along the chosen radial slot line. Continue until the entire circle is cut. The beveled hole guides can be used with a pencil or pen to help you in laying out angled patterns. The degree of the lines and the straight inch ruler are handy to measure circle diameters and triangles.

Circle 1. Circle: Anchor center to facilitate turning template for cutting. Be certain to apply pressure when cutting multiple layers. Follow the outside edge of chosen slot and rotate template after reaching the end of the slot. Repeat until entire circle is cut out.

1/2 Circle 2. 1/2 Circle: Choose circle size. Anchor center to facilitate turning template for cutting. Be sure to mark the center point with a pen or pencil. After cutting the circle, use a straight edge and hold it at the center line to insure a perfect half circle.

Triangle 3. Triangle or pie shape: After cutting your circle, use the template holes and a pen or pencil to mark the desired triangle shape. Then cut with straight edge and rotary cutter or scissors.

Arc 4. Arc: Decide the length and width of the arc. Mark holes at end of chosen arc length. Anchor center hole and cut to the desired width. Remove template and use a straight edge to cut ends. Be sure to allow 1/4 inch outside the cut line to have room for the sewing line.

Donut 5. Donuts: Cut outer circle diameter using process described above. Then cut inner circle to create donut shape.
